Jennifer Tilly 2016

Jennifer-TillyJennifer Tilly – Poker Player

Actress Jennifer Tilly is known for her talents in the movies and for being one of the first Hollywood celebrities to be a winner in the world of competitive poker. She has been working in film and television since the early 1980s. Her first big splash in the movies came with a role in Woody Allen’s “Bullets Over Broadway” (1994), for which she earned an Oscar nomination. Since then, Jennifer Tilly has worked steadily in the movies, and has also established herself as a talented voice actor whose credits include TV’s “The Family Guy” (1999-2005) and the feature films “Stuart Little” (1999, starring Geena Davis) and “Monsters, Inc.” (2001, with Billy Crystal and John Goodman). In 2003 Tilly began participating in competitive poker tournaments, and in 2005 she won the World Series’ Ladies World Poker Championship and the World Poker Ladies Night III. She has cashed in numerous WSOP events and most recently came in 14th in the 6-Player $5k WSOP event in 2015.  She is an ambassador for poker where ever she goes.

Shirley Rosario – Poker Player / Industry Professional

Shirley won the 2005 Legends of Poker Omaha Championship and placed second to Phil Hellmuth in 2003 at the L.A. Poker Classic Omaha Championship. She also placed first at the 2003 Grand Slam of Poker No Limit Hold ’em Shootout at the Hustler Casino and three HORSE events at the Commerce Casino in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Mandy Glogow 2016

mandy glagowMandy Glogow – Industry Professional

While many in poker don’t realize this, Glogow is the main driver behind producing the episodes of WPT for FS1. In a world of televised poker where we have fantastic male producers who have gained notoriety in the past, Glogow quietly is the driving creative voice behind one of the most enduring brands in poker. Working her way up from segment producer when she first started in Season V to one of the lead producers of the show.  Glogow embodies all of the character traits in poker: a hard-working woman who does her job, does not seek attention, and lets her finished product speak for herself.  Moreover, to our knowledge there have been no women on the production side of poker that has reached the level of power and involvement of Supervising Producer of an internationally-aired television show. In her time at WPT, Glogow has been part of an effort to include a diverse group of women into the show, such as the creation of the anchor position once occupied by Kimberly Lansing and now filled by Lynn Gilmartin, incorporating the on-the-site female reporters like Amanda Leatherman and Jessica Welman into the production, because she felt their experiences alongside the tournament were more useful, than a sideline reporter simply coming in for the final table.

Victoria Coren Mitchell 2016

victoria corenVictoria Coren Mitchell – Poker Player
Victoria is the first (and so far only) two-time winner of the European Poker Tour. She has been playing poker since she was a teenager and has accrued official lifetime tournament winnings of over $2 million dollars. She became the 2006 European Poker Champion after winning the London EPT, and was the first woman to win an event on the European Poker Tour. In April 2014, she won the EPT San Remo and became the first double EPT champion.  She has also won a series of Celebrity Poker Club on Challenge TV, making her possibly the only person to win both a professional and a celebrity poker competition – and definitely the only person who has had to beat Phil Ivey to win one tournament and Roger de Courcey to win another. Victoria plays regular cash games at the Victoria Casino in London and tournaments on the international poker circuit, especially the EPT and the UK & Ireland Poker Tour.

Karina Jett 2016
